its not a bug or anything.
It is supposed to do that. What it is doing is getting news and updates from the Creative website. When you perform a LiveTask the updates appear in a small news box....

look in the bios at boot up. If you can see the conflict here (the two sharing an irq) you will be able to force one to use another free irq. SBlive likes irq 5 and 9 (or 11)
