Okay, my SB Live and Abit BE6-II work fine together. There is a brand new BIOS that I just flashed to that includes support for Celly2's (BIOS SH) but it was fine before that.

Are you still using a BE6-II??
I have one of those with hardware simular to yours. The board can be a little fussy sometimes on what hardware goes in what PCI slot.


I have my Linksys net card...

Nevermind... I couldnt take it anymore so I switched soundcards.. problem solved.

I just did a fresh install of Windows 98 FE on my kids computer and threw in my old Awe 64.

Now when wavs play I only hear half of it..
and when I try to start some of her kid software it says...

I have read at Creative Labs site that this is an issue only with SBLive and Half Life..
although they dont offer a solution.
