My 3d sound refuses to work in win2000?? I have installed the latest drivers from creative. Any ideas, Quake3 and UT was so great with 3d sound.

So basically midi is just for musical instrament simulation and not used in games these days. So I have no need for them.

What are the advantages, if any, to using the larger wavesets that come with the soundblaster cards?? I am using to 8meg set with a sb128.
