Where are the driver updates? It seems like the latest driver for this card is February this year, which is still BETA. Where are the promised more midi polyphony, more digital streams, etc.? Is it...

Hi,
Final Fantasy 7 PC users must have noticed that the game has support for the AWE32/64, meaning that you can use the game's preset SoundFonts. That'll enable you to hear the lyrics in the music...

Is it a good idea to still have the AWE32 seated in my ISA slot when I already have the SBLive, or will the SBLive perform everything the AWE32 does. Also, will doing so cause conflict problems? I...

Hello,
I currently own an AWE32 and the MIDI sounds great. I'm planning to upgrade to either of the sound cards. Which soundcard's MIDI sound better? Can both download SoundFonts? Is the SBLive's...

Hi,
I noticed that PC-100 SDRAM's have an ECC version, and they're more expensive. What are the main differences? What about 3.3V SDRAM with EPROM? Which should I get? I'm planning to use them...

Does the lack of L2 cache (128KB as compared to 512KB of the P-II) affect it's rendering speed in 3D Studio, if both processor are run at 450MHz?

Just worried if the celery will not run @ 450MHz, and I'll be wasting my money buying crap. Frying the chip isn't really my concern. I'm running my 200MMX @ 233MHz with no problem. ...

The ACS48 can handle as much bass as you can pump in. I've tried playing it at high volume without hearing any distortion at all. Don't buy the cambridge PCworks unless you really want its 4 speaker...

Geoff, thanks for your wacky ideas, but I don't feel like running the computer with the case open. It would be an eyesore. Custom made CPU coolers would be a good idea, but it's hard to get in my...

I live in Malaysia and the climate here is hot and humid (as you may have already know.) The lowest room temperature I can archieve is around 25 degrees celcius during December with my air...

Just what I've going to do. I can't afford for another pair anyway (U.S. dollars exchange rate is high in Malaysia.) But wouldn't the cheap rear speakers affect the overall quality of the sound and...

I'm planning to buy a 4-speaker output 3D soundcard (e.g. SBLive) and I currently own a pair of Altec Lansing ACS48 with subwoofer. Should I buy another pair of speakers for my soundcard to get...
