PROBLEMS NOTICED BY MANY:
-crackling noise at startup.
-game/video freeze's with an annoying "eeeee" sound.
-large file transfer between drives.
cause: 686b northbridge chip / sb live series...

this bios is not worth trying because it is just the temp fix they have that you can do manually *by using WPCRSET and disabling your PCI latency in bios. if you guys try the new bios u will have to...

Ok.. so every1 is aware of this problem (VIA/SB/Large file transfers), many of us are pist/mad/unhappy... whateva.. maybe its time to drop SB and start finding alternatives... i mean dont get me...
