i think i fixed the problem,
it was not the sound card,
i had to use "control driven calibration"for the wheel.

I just bought a Thrustmaster formula sprint wheel, no problems installing it to win98 se.
Calibration of the wheel in Grand Prix 3 can be done. But running the game first when going strait it is...

You can use the latest version of Nero Burning Rom to write MP3's to CD (Nero will convert the MP3 to WAV for you), look at www.ahead.de for a trial version.
