I think it most likely is the old videocard, had the same problem myself. and you might be able to get a V3 3000 for $90, there's a $30 dollar rebate right now.

MGP - THESE WHAT?, you never even mentioned what speakers you have. I bought Midilands because of the multiple reviews I have read. CompUSA and BestBuy around here only have lower end speakers...

This is the same damn threade as we had a couple months ago. But know there the new drivers for SB live! So maybe it's legit.
