Hi, i bought a crappy basic soundcard for my dads pc, its a Aztec PCI 168...i plugged it in to the pci slot, but windows wont detect it....it is pnp cos i put it in my pc and it installed fine, but...

If u want a good soundcard that isnt very expensive, go for a soundblaster pci 64...i have that and its good for anything really...
Or you could just get a standard soundblaster...

I have a sb64 pci, and im using the soundblaster 128 legacy drivers under dos...im not sure why, but thats how it was when i got the pc!! U can probably get these drivers off the cd or from...

I have a Soundblaster PCI 64, but it uses the soundblaster 128 legacy drivers and the mixer controlls are fine; maybe you have the wrong drivers or it could be the headset...
