I settled for the Phillips rythmic edge... nice card. Only has 1 output ( I cheaped out) and it has excellent sound quality. I say go with phillips...why? Phillips could cosume, financially, both...

Sblive has 18 bit dac. From the reviews i have read of the Santa Cruz, it needs some serious driver work and from my own personal experience, I can confirm this too.

umm, your still smoking crack...if your using a3d2.0, then yes, the Yamaha 744 chipset on your fortissonmo will win, but then again, its a3d2.0 and my god. that is a gaming difference. Expect to see...

haha, cirrus logic, far superior...The turtle beach card is great, but it can't beat Aureal when it comes to 3d reverb effects...stop spouting when you know nothing of sound cards. The Vortex 2...

It has to do with a timing issue between the Aureal chipsets and the via. I had to dithc my card too.

i have an mx300 and a toshiba dvd-rom with decoder card. When i play movies like starship troopers it will work with stereo but when i put it on digital surround or dolby surround, nothing comes...

I just bought an MX300 and it came with this "softDVD" immulator. From what i read it lets you use a cd-rom to read DVD with this "miracle" software.

Anyone have any info
