try to put a rem before the live command that start de Dos driver in the autoexec.bat

From what i read in the Past, Quake 1 and 2 don't really like PCI sound card. So the only way I find to use all My PCI audio card (1 ensoniq and 1 MX300) was to use the compatibility mode.

If Windows 2000 don't come with the driver for the CMI i'm pretty sure that you not find it else where for now...

If the card it a real Vibra16 you can d/l the driver for the sb16 from Creative Labs and it should work.

I was using a vibra16 some years ago and that the way I find to update the lame driver =)
