Hmmmm. Some MB's with built-in audio sometimes have an option in bios to change the irq of the on-board sound. But if yer board had that feature, im sure you would have seen it all ready.

I have to totally agree with al_robichaud here! Some computer speakers are decent quality, but they will ALWAYS be underpowered. (To save on production costs) Do your self a favor and buy a surround...
