Well I've seen on some tests that that card is pretty bad compared to SB Live and Player.

I didnt know the SB 128 supported 4 speakers! Or if it does I dont think its as good as SB Live! at all, since its kinda budget-soundcard.

Every time you get a problem with new drivers you should first try to re-install them, if it wont work, then return back to the older drivers. Or if someone knows a better solution, get help ...

Its not even half as good as a SB Live. In-built sound/graphic cards are the worst you can expect, never go for them.
And usually they make a bit of problem and conflict when you're going to install...
