Try taking the MX300 out of the comp then removing the drivers.

Like (Chanse) said they are the same card the only diff is the software that comes with it.

Well I never could get my SBLive to work in Win2000 RC2. Couldnt find drivers anywhere. And whatever you DONT try to use the NT drivers.

Well I do have problems in Win2000 now that I add a 2nd cpu to the system. Got to do more T/S ing to be sure it's the MX300.

I'm running Win2000 RC2 with dual 466s'. I cant find drivers for my SBLive and my MX300 Vortex2 card locks up the comp when running games. The Vortex2 drivers dont support smp from what I understand...

did you try reinstalling your sound card drivers? I dont think the Intel82371AB PCI to USb Universal Host Controller would have any bearing on your sound card unless your sound is built into you...
