http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/biggrin.gif i'm serious. Although there are some stock car and low retail speakers that does have the name "Bose" on it for marketing/business purposes;...
I am the kind of person that uses 4 guage wires on a singer baby-D kicker amp, on a 10 inch Solo Baric using custom fiberclass. I'm the person that annoyingly retunes the winamp eq for different mp3...
consider: Is it worth it to invest in very nice speakers as opposed to "ok" ones when you really can't tell the quality differences by ear? Everyone's sound perception is different, too.
You forget that the Logitech brand is for computers. Superior sound comes from home theaters, like Klipsch. I'd love to go into details, but this discussion has been covered a hundred times. ...
I'd just flat out say that PC speakers can NEVER compare to home theater systems, because they just can't. And I'm not just talking about power. However, PC speaker quality only...

1) its durable,
2) i might consider getting a bigger sound system so i'll have the wires already,...
The problem is the sound card itself. The MP3 5.1+ (assuming along with the rest of the Creative series) is a damn haven of problems and limits. Previous discussions touch on this topic.
I'm pretty sure all modern audio cards have digital out capability. You only need a digital reciever, and change some setting in the drivers. The thing to watch for is what type of output...
digital comes in useful if your card has a digital out, your sound is set to "digital out only", and your speaker set has a digital reciever on it. And it's arguably the better way to go.
