I have to wait a few days for the Santa Cruz... I buy my stuff at a little coputer store that dosen´t have everything in stock... they only had the Creativ crap on the shelves ...

I also only use 2 PCI slots... I did like you SB-crap in 6 http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif and the D-Link NIC on 3! It´s a little better but not perfect... I never hade crashes,...

I have tried everything now, nothing seems to help! Does anyone know what happens if i disable ACPI in the BIOS?

I have the same problem in Quake III Arena, it sounds like it has sampled the sound and loops it back 4 times then it moves on! Any ideas what it could be?

Does anyone know if there is any new drivers for the SB Live cards? All I can find is the old file sblw9xup.exe which is dated 000505 att:

I had the same problem, I had do format my drive! Get the "sblw9xup.exe" file from Creativ, it doesn´t edit the autoexec.bat file.
