Go get the latest drivers off of creative's site. I had that same problem. The new drivers fixed it.

The mp3+, xgamer and value are all the same card except for the value (I believe) does not have digital outs nor the extensive software bundle. Xgamer comes with 3 full version games and the mp3+...

I believe they are talking about the Soundblaster live X-Gamer. I have it and it is a great card. It also comes with 3 games, the full versions. Thief, Descent3 and Need for Speed. No regrets.
