The soundblaster live works perfecty for the amd processors... well ok not perfectly at all but there are no problems that u wouldnt have with an intel system...
the amd in ur system is surely not...

well its an avarage setup... its nice, but there are better ones...

go out at a big shop where u can listen to many boxes... u will be able to see the difference...

Try to find a quite pci slot...
have u placed ur sound card near the video card?? if so try an other pci slot since this is a problem that appears very often...
