From what most people say the best out there would be either the Hercules Gaming Theater XP or the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. The Hercules is about $130 and the Santa Cruz is 70-80 I think.
Has anyone here acually heard the DTS set, or better yet own them? I am interested as to how they compare to the Digitheaters.
Guess? The DTS of course! The DTS set should be really nice, but its more expensive then the normal set.
Its ok. I was just suprised to see another post about this. But I'm sure that everyone would pretty much agree that the videologic speakers are going to be superior to the DT3500. The only downside...
Digitheater! For the last time! Haven't you posted 3 topics about this already? The videologic speakers are really, really good!
I guess that would be correct. My videologic digitheaters are pretty loud and clear despite their low power rating. They still dont compare to my Klipsch though, I love those things.
That would be pretty cool. I imagine the Klipsch would be better through, especially when it comes to the sub-woofer. Has anyone ever heard or tried videologic's dts set?
The Videologic speakers will be better in every aspect. However, they are probably more expensive, and they do not come with a built in dolby digital decoder. Which means that your pc will have to...
A sound card should work on a server. The only difference servers have is a little more powerfull hardware and usually a different operating system. I know for a fact that sound cards work flawlessly...
yes, we need lots more information. Then we can help.
Does the santa cruz card work at all in Win2k?
format and re-install windows. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif Thats probably not what you wanted to hear huh? Well I have never dealt with this card before but I know that they...
Well I might just have to trade in this SBLive for a Santa Cruz. After all, my Klipsch deserve the best. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif
What chipset does the Santa Cruz use and what kind of driver support does it have?
Truthfully I have an A3d Vortex 2 sound card and a SBLive and I really couldnt tell much difference in quality between the two. The one reason I like my SBLive though is because it acually works well...
Acually the DTS speakers are $500 US and thats when you buy them directly from videologic. You could probably find a closer US distributor for even cheaper. They also sell some other 5.1 sets that...
If you can afford it I would get the Hercules one. I have not tried the Santa Cruz but many people claim it has superior sound quality to that of the SBLive and it doesnt install a whole bunch of...
The problem was using a SBLive with a KT133a motherboard, and when transfering large amounts of data from 1 ide hard drive to another. This problem did not happen in all machines and there has been a...
I dont know what problem in specific you are referring to. I have an Abit KT7-RAID with a SBLive and it works great in Windows ME, and Windows Whistler. What problem are you worried about?

Where are these $600 complete DTS home theater systems? I thought that a DTS reciever alone would cost at least $300. Then you still have to get the DTS speakers a sub. I'm not calling you a liar I...

Can you get a complete home theater system that is DTS quality for $600? I think not.

For 4.1 get Klipsch. For 5.1 get some Videologic. They have a DTS set of 5.1 speakers which would really be sweet.

What OS, what drivers, and what hardware do you have loaded on your pc?

Decent and cheap would be the cambridge, if you want to pay a little more and get some really kick a$$ speakers then get the videologic.
I listed to boston accoustics in the store and didnt like them much. I also listed to the Klipsch in the store and really didnt think they sounded like $250. Then I started reading all these reviews...
