Try the Bose and then try either Atlantic Technology or Definitive Technology and hear the difference. For the price, Bose sound very very bad.

First of all it would work. I'm assuming that you are talking about outputing from your computer to seperate Amps and setting up a Dolby Digital 5.1 system.
But I have a Marantz 8000 series...

They are both good cards. The game theater is better mostly because of the external rack and its a little newer.
