ESS sometimes is a problem. There are several listed on www.driverguide.com . I just recently got one for an ESS es1868 that worked fine for me. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif

Are you certain that the center jack is Line Out. If there are 3 jacks, they are probably Line Out, Line In, & Microphone.
Some cards have 4 jacks, Line out, Line In,Microphone and Speaker out...

Have you tried www.driverguide.com? Since you have access to the Nos. on the card, you may be able to do an FCC ID search with their
/guide/fccid.htm page. Proceed(or not) from there.
