well everything i play has the dolby digital light on my reciever....i am unsure wheather it is always in 5.1 but i do know that in some games like unreal i can hear different sounds come from the...

i have my rf-3s hooked up to my computer...the optical output on my nforce is going to my reciever.
it is way better than any computer speaker setup around.

yes u can but you will only recieve 5.1 channel on dvds....games and music will most likely be 2 channel.
i have my nforce sound connected straight to my reciever and it sounds great.

get an rca to mini jack converter then you can run the audio thru the line in on your sound card. un mute it in the volume controls and it should come out ur pc speakers

sb live + via = very bad combo
