From a dos box, I'll try running true dos now.

I am running a K6 2 450,with 64 meg of ram,The operating system is windoze98 se,and creative sb 128pci, it happens in all Games running under dos(and there's afew I still like to play!!)

When I Load Dos games The soundcard fails to initialize, Im at the end of my tether Can anyone help?

I have cdrw and cd both connected to my sb pci 128 and i have no problems at all.Plays music games and so on,Ihope this helps you.

I have been trying to get duke nukem 3d to run on my kids pc.But when it comes to the sound card setup it will not recognise the soundcard.
