So it's only possible to get the 5.1 with a digital reciever (or digital speakers), unless we shell out for the SB 5.1 soundcard?

BTW it's not popping or clicking, it's very low level interferance, and isn't random.
Oh and it isn't the hard drive clicking ,the fans rotating, or my modem dialing ...

I can definately hear the CPU. If I let CPU Heat Up run (part of motherboard monitor), then I can hear the differance between it running and not running, every 2 seconds it changes, and this makes...

You know the sound you get when your computer (basically your hard drive) does something. Like you can actually hear the computer working (with analog connector to speakers).
