did you try hp they probably have drivers for it on their site, or just do it the old fasion way and go into system properties then click on sound card then driver then search internet then install...

try reinstalling the card take it out then start up, shut down put card back in, reinstall drivers. if this dont work just uninstall liveware 3.0. if you had the older version installed and it worked...

i have an amd k6-2 359mhz cpu with a sound blaster live X-gamer works fine, the only problem is that sb live dont supports a3d. i have also tried a sb live value and that was fine too
