Any advantage in going to PCI bus from ISA?

I always thought a soundcard was a soundcard but the ads say less cpu overhead from a pci card versus an ISA.

This is a Creative Labs cheapie for about 30 bucks. Just wondering if anybody uses this card? How does it compare to the SB 16 PNP.

Esp for Mp3 playing, recording.
