Well, to be honest with you, power supplies are so darn cheap these days your better off just going to a computer shop or electronic surplus shop and buying one.
sorry dont have any links for them concerning design though.
Like tkbrewer said, just buy a new one. It's not worth messing with a dead one. Even if it isn't plugged into the wall, some of the transistors still have enough juice in 'em to give you one helluva shock!
What made you conclude that it was the Power supply that is the problem?
