Thanks 'dfgsd' for replying, no I don't believe he has any scsi dievices on the computer. Besides, the error mentions the cdrom/dvd drive as being the problem, which isn't a scsi device.
Personally, I don't understand why he even has the drivers loading in autoexec.bat since Windows loads its own -both drives are new as of about 6 months.
Most probably there are command lines that is refering to SCSI devices that doesn't exist in the system anymore. Go to Start-Run and type msconfig. Go to the Autoexec.bat section and uncheck lines that you think is pointing to load the SCSI devices. Restart after you've made the changes. The messages should be no more appearing.
