buying advice pls. (firewire hardrive)

I would like to buy a firewire hardrive. (about 30 gb). what brand should I choose and why? with respect to price and quality.
(the best buy I guess?)

get the western digital. good price. pure 1394. you'll like it...

what did you mean by "you'll like it..."? is there any doubt or negative thing abt it?

Never tried a firewire hard drive but the western digital ones look nice. Can't go wrong with Western Digital! What other companies even make them anyway?

tanga, when it comes to Firewire stuff, the best advice will be found from those who are neck-deep in that stuff.....i.e., Mac types.
