Hi, i have an NEC A500 15" monitor. It looks great. BUt on start up, the screen starts out a little low (loosing the bottom millimeter or two of the screen). And as it warms up i guess, it returns to normal position (in 10-15min).
Is this normal? is my monitor messed up?

It sounds like the dimensions of the screen change depending on temperature, something in there is altering as it warms up. It's definitely not a desirable quality, but I wouldn't bother taking it to be repaired, a millimetre or so isn't much and it's only until it warms up a bit.
Try and have it fixed and you'll probably find it's developed a worse problem. Just live with it http://www.hardwarecentral.com/discussion/smile.gif
I've seen some monitors with an expanding picture as the monitor warms up.
