What VGA would you recommend which gives best TV output quality?
For example if I wanted to play DVD's from my computer and have it output on TV.

What VGA would you recommend which gives best TV output quality?
For example if I wanted to play DVD's from my computer and have it output on TV.
For best quality and performance, probably a Radeon 8500 with TV Out. ATi suposedly has the best image quality...
For good quality and affordability, I have a GF2 mx400 with TV Out that does the job perfectly fine.

I've seen the quality of a GeForce2 MX400 TV output and I must say I'm not so satisfied with it at all.
So, the choice is between Radeon 8500 or Matrox G450.
Price is not a problem.
I have seen the VGA output on GeForce2 cards and Radeon 8500 cards and my vote goes to the Radeon 8500. I haven't seen the G450 though to be able to make a statement about it.

If price isn't a problem then get he AIW 8500DV,this would give the capture capabilities you were looking for in your other post If your looking at getting individual cards get the G450 and a Hauppage Win-TV Theatre
