I downloaded them but haven't installed them. Have you used them yet?? if so How are they?? Like them?? I was waiting to see if they were ok to install.
I was going to download DX8, but I play Everquest and they recommended not to at this time (for game compatibility.

From Microsofts web site they say it only fixed some sort of buttons not working on a forign larguage thing. I can't find it again. They specifically state that this was the ONLY fix. Dont see a reason to download it.

DirectX 8.0a Redist
This download contains the DirectX 8.0a redist release. DirectX 8.0a contains updates for issues with international installs on Windows 2000 and issues where input devices could have buttons disabled that were enabled with previous DirectX releases. There are no other changes.
