Hey, im sure this has been asked a million times, but i have a hollywood decoder card, and when i use it with a passthrough, it becomes blurry as hell!!!
what can i do? is it hardware, or software?

I have a Hollywood Decoder card, and i didnt get it to work... some problems with the drivers or something. I finally just used the software decoder and it worked perfectly fine. I have an Athlon 500, 128mb, and G400 system, so if you have one better, why use the hardware? :P You could also get a video card with the decoder built in. They have some good prices on those at www.1stclasstech.com

Just plug the DXR3 directly into your TV.
A general rule:
It is best to use a Software Decoder to watch DVDs on monitor and Hardware decoder to output to tv/video.
