and when i try to tweak the memory speed
above the 300 Mhz default(330 Mhz max)
i says that this is not recommended.
Is it save for me to do this

That`s the generic message you got.
As long as you got enough cooling and experience no graphical glitches or lockups there shouldn`t be a problem.
The overclocking bar on Creatives Drivers only alow moderate overclocking and should be safe.
