i cant wait to get more info about these chips. this sounds perfect for diy skype phones, jukeboxes or even standard dvd players... these could be real fun if the price is right.

A powerhouse it isn't, but it's x86 compliant. I'd imagine a carefully created linux distro or Windows XP install might work on it decently.
