Taking my laptop to the UK

I am going to London shortly (Saturday). I have never taken my US laptop before, but I am this time.

As I recall, I don't need a power convertor-right? Just the plug adaptor?

If your power supply varies between 110 and 240 yes, if it dosen't you might have a smokey holiday.

I looked at the power brick, and I can't make heads or tails of it. I wrote HP, and they say it will work fine.

Most of those bricks support 110 to 240V and say so.
