Wellington International Airport in New Zealand isn't much better. Coastline, road, fence, runway. Haven't got photos, but anyone with Google Earth can check out 41°20'10"S 174°48'23"E and get a decent idea from the photo.

That place would make an awesome motorcycle drag strip! :)
I hear Hawaii also has an intimidating runway. Probably considerably longer than that driveway, though.
And in the "cool things I learned today" category, putting 41d20'10"S, 174d48'23"E in the Fly To box saves you having to hunt around. :)Quote:
