Hmmm, that's kind of odd. It is a pretty good beer. Had my fair share of them in DC. Haven't had the Porter or the B&T yet. Might have to give those a shot....

Dont remember who it was that asked but Miller is pretty cheap over here i got 8 cans (the proper 500ml ones not the pointless little 33ml ones) for a fiver the other day. Never get it on tap at pubs though.
Dont seem to get MGD here either i used to love that in Brazil.
To answer to actual question though
1)Heineken (5% stuff not the 3.8%)
2)San Miguel
3)Carlsberg Export
Though its strange how beer differs depending on where its brewwed.
Heineken is pretty nice here in the Uk though i'm not sure if its brewed here or imported. But when i was in Brazil it was Brazilian brewed and tasted pretty foul.
Gotta say i hate bud though /me puts on flame proof suit ;)
Whereas Skol over here is one of the cheapest nastiest beers you can get yet over in Brazil theres one called Skol beats which is pretty damn nice though not sure if its the same company.

True. As much as folk in Australia love Guinness, it's actually brewed in Australia and not the same as the stuff you'd get in the UK.
I've often heard Guinness in the UK is on a different level again.
My top 3
1. Carling
2. VB (Victoria Bitter)
3. Tooheys New
If you're not British you probably haven't heard of carling but it's the best selling beer in the UK, and well tasty.
I also went to Australia in 1998 and have fond memories of drinking excessive amounts of VB and Tooheys :p
lol, scraping the barrel there dannyboy27 :D
The "typical" Aussie beer is rough as guts and XXXX and VB are just that.
A lots changed since 1998, Aussie beer has become a lot more up-market since international beer had been made more available (although you can still get the old favourites ;)).
