Not sure about that - it's pretty clean already. Looks cool though. I am amazed it doesn't have "Microsoft" written on the front.
As for that guy's CG interpretation - nice idea, but I think I'd get quite freaked out with one of those things in my living room. :D
I can actually see that sphere as a usable game console. No need for controller ports in the front if you use wireless controllers, after all, and since you can buy those on the aftermarket I could see M$ possibly including those on the next version.
