Infrared Cable

Have an IBM laptop (A31 2652J4U) with unstable infrared capabilities. Am interested in using infrared cable, has anyone had any success w/a particular make/model of cables? any suggestions?

I would like to pass info from one device to my laptop.

Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated.

if infrared isnt working, you may have to use uv reactive cabling, just have to put a black strobe light over it

Were you talking wireless?

If so then try the Belkin one. I used it with my Palm IIIe with ok, success, it worked just slow.
