Yes i know what you are thinking... why the hell did I buy a SK-6+ if I wanted to use an 80mm fan :D
Does anybody know of a company that makes a 60-80mm fan adapter that screws/clips onto the SK-6+?
Thanks in advance
P.S. This is a great cooler

Could I just buy a normal 60-80mm adapter from somewhere and then screw it onto the SK-6+ ?
Would the copper hold the weight of the 80mm fan (TT Smart Case Fan 2) as it doesn't have any screw threading and bends easily.
You can use 80mm fans on it. Just attach the fan at a 45-degree angle, so that the clips hold onto the corners of the fan instead of the sides.
Yeah, I did try that but it seems like an awful lot of fan to waste around the edges.
Also, will those clips hold the fan on properly? As I dont want the fan to fall or something. I might give it a try when I get home tonight.
Thanks for replying.
Others have tried it with success. No problems to speak of. As long as it fits securely and your temps are fine, it's a good solution.;)Quote:

Ok cool. Thanks.
If this fails, I will get a Papst, YS-Tech or Sanyo-Denki fan from overclockers UK.
