i got this kx7-333r since i wanted to get into overclocking but whenever i got to set the fsb and multiplier settings the wont post until i go and reset the cmos
is this because my cpu is locked?
i think i know how to unlock it just worries me that ill screw up my cpu

If your 1.4 Athlon is anything like mine, it is already unlocked. Since it was the highest speed grade for that chip design, AMD saw no need to lock it. I also had a 1.33 that was unlocked.
well what speed to do have yours running at?
i have mine set manually at 135 x10.5 and if i even try to change it to 136 x 10.5 it will not post
