What can i expect?...

Ive been out of the performance loop for some time now but ive just ordered some kit and im waiting for it to arrive.

What i am wanting to know is, has anyone got similar hardware to mine and whats the overclocking potential.

Gigabyte 8PE-667 Ultra
P4 2.4Ghz(533)
512Mb 2700 DDR (333)
Geforce 4 Ti 4200 (64Mb)

Any suggestions as to what i can overclock this setup to?

I will be running windows 2000.

Also, when i say overclocking, i mean for my system to still be stable....which to me is still being able to run 3DMark2001 without crashing.

Hmmm if its a B0 stepping, then probably 2.7-2.8GHz tops on air cooling. If its a C1 stepping, then probably 3.0-3.1. 3.1 usually requires water though, but it has been done on air.

Would have to check the S-codes against Intel's site and see what stepping it is ;)
