i generally use prime 95
I second that. The hottest my CPU EVER gets is from running Prime95. It is also a very good test of memory and seems to find instabilities better than any other program.
I usually run:
Prime95
3dMark2001
SuperPi
PCMark2002
Sandra
CPUBurn
memtest
and
memtest86
all can be founf using google.
For cpu burn in and or chipset/memory burn the best I have found is cpuburn. Try a search in yahoo or altavista.
Seti brings my temp on my p3 to 48-49C with cpuburn and in particular burnp6 (which is one of the burn tests in cpuburn) it brings the temp up to 62C. Try it I went through a few burn in progies until i found cpuburn.
