I'm confused here...
Which card is supposed to be the better card: ATI AIW 8500LE 128MB or ATI AIW 8500 128?
And what exactly is the difference between them?

I'm not 100% sure and I've wondered myself. I think the 8500LE is the same as the 8500 AIW, but without the TV stuff. I have the 8500AIW.
i thought i read a review that said the 8500 aiw w/ 128 was clocked at 275/275. and the 64 meg aiw was at like 250/250. same as the le or something close to that.
There isn't an AIW 8500LE to my knowledge. Not "built by ATi" anyway.Quote:

128MB 8500LE: 250/250MHz with BGA memory. VGA + TV out.
8500 AIW 128MB: 275/275MHz with BGA memory. DVI-I + TV out. Also has a TV tuner, support for video capture, comes bundles with the Remote Wonder RF remote control and has a break-out box for I/O.
8500DV (64MB AIW): 230/190MHz with TSOP memory. It has the same featureset as the 128MB card except that it also supports firewire (IEEE 1934) and has a digital instead of analog TV tuner.
Hope this helps, :)

I knew I was missing something, I just couldn't figure out what it was! The 8500LE is NOT an All-In-Wonder card.
Thank you!
Well, this will make my decision a little bit easier I think! :)
