Is this implemented on purpose to keep you playing http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/rolleyes.gif? Everytime when I quit the demo my system freezes, exactly when I click on the last quit on the last billboard.
Does anyone else have this problem?

It is working just fine for me no crashes and that was with a 10+ seggemented download at 2.2kbs on a 56k modem, (using GoZilla). Remembered reading this topic between a couple of gamers, not sure if it has any relevance to your problem.

Anyone try the demo?
After loading a saved game, and exiting, the game crashes.
This seems to be a problem with a lot of users.
Just curious if anyone else ran into this problem.
All other games, including Diablo ii and Quake 3 run great!

Yes, I did. It is supposedly a known issue. The thing is that the Q3A engine
did not have a save capability built into it, so the developers had to build
that into the game. I guess it was it was poor coding, since it looks like
Raven did a good job with it for E.F.
I don't know if it is anyhelp but there is something about a On patch & Timedemo

Hi, y'all I've just downloaded the demo and tried to install the patch but it just says that Fakk2 is not installed on this machine.
Anyone else experience this???

Yes, I have that too, but it seems that the demo already has the version number 1.01. I found that when I tried to change the registry entries of FAKK2 in order to get the patch running.Quote:
