Before you buy a game do you always play the demo or do you trust magazine/website or friends reviews ?
I usually play a demo if I can because I have cable modem so I can acually download them. Before I had cable I would just trust that magazines opinion.
I normally check out the demo before buying. I remember playing the Half Life demo for about 3 minutes and then cruising out to get the retail game! LOL! Some games just feel right. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif
I read the reviews, check out a couple sites and what tehy said, most likely I would go to hardwarecentral, read about it because usually alot of people would be talking about it, and then try the demo. If it still interests me, I would get the game.
Always try the Demo. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif Recently I tried the Demo for Airfix dogfighter. A ton of fun, you fly a model plane, in doors, nice graphics, smooth. 35MB but worth it. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif

I usually :
1. Read some reviews.
2. Chec out some screen shots.
3. Download the demo and if it is good I will wait for the game and buy it.
