Why. If the moderators are doing a good job why do we have to vote. If there is a problem with a moderator then say so and we can vote or draw up a petition.

If a mod sucks, we can have him summarily executed - Peking style.

The very same moderators would be elected again if there was another vote. I am thrilled with the current moderators, they do an excellent job. Having an election would just reinforce that fact. Notice how none of the mods seem to care if anyone wants another vote? They don't see any competition, and neither do I.
