Not sure if you can do it this way but click on the profile tag at the top and change your username.

I don't think you can edit the username in the profile.

The mods might not have access to editing account information, I think the administrators are the only ones who can do that.

Why doesn't this person just re-register under a new name, they only have 35 posts?
