Memory Jargon

I'm not an overclocker.
What is CL or cache latency?
Also, i've heard of someone state the performance of his memory this way :

cas-2@150mhz

Any idea wat that is?

cl is cas latency, the lower the faster

when someone sets cas2@150 they mean that the ram is cas2 [fast] and the front-side bus [fsb] is running at 150mhz, rather than the usual 100 or 133, and most likely indicates an overclocked system with high fsb and good quality ram
