My friend has a KT7A Raid board that has a 1 ghz t-bird. When he starts it up it beeps for 5 seconds and shuts off. The chip works, we tried it in my system and no problems there. Has anyone had similar experiences?

Make sure you have a RPM monitoring capable fan on FAN HEADER 1 (near the socket A)
